International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN)
CAHS is a supporter of the international campaign to abolish nuclear weapons (ICAN). ICAN’s activities have led to many countries signing the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. We urge all countries to sign and support this treaty. The Australian Government has yet to sign on and CAHS strongly supports Australia joining this treaty.
The Australian Labor Party (ALP) has recently announced that it will ratify the treat should it win government at the next election. CAHS strongly supports implementation of the treaty.
